THE 11TH AMENDMENT

"The Judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by Citizens of another State, or by Citizens or Subjects of any Foreign State."

Meaning: This amendment is stating that you give states certain sovereign and free judicial powers over certain national things as well as limiting their rights to sue states. If you live in New York you can't sue Missouri or any foreign states.

I chose this image because for one I like their cute mascots and it describes part of the 11th amendment without too much information. It shows that if someone is wanting to sue a state in another state it cannot happen unless, that person wanting to sue was in that state.
