13th Amendment:))


"Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."

Meaning:
The amendment in simpler terms means no one in the United States can be a slave unless for punishment with the jails for community service.

I chose this picture because it shows that now we as American people are free from slavery, it shouldn't go on anymore.

This picture means a lot that is why I chose it, it shows that after hundreds of years African slaves were finally free. This picture speaks a thousand words.

TWENTY-SEVENTH AMENDMENT:) " No law varying the compensation for the services of the Senators and Representatives shall take effect until an election of Representatives shall have intervened." Meaning: This amendment states that those in Congress can't themselves a pay raise this also deals with the decrease in pay wages. TWENTY-SIXTH AMENDMENT!! "The right of citizens of the United States, who are 18 years of age or older, to vote, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state on account of age." " The Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation."  Meaning:  This amendment states that those who are 18 and older can vote and shouldn't be denied because of their age! This image was cute and just shows the pride of those that are 18 and happy to vote and make a difference!
